1 . ADVANTAGES
Hereby we present the 3rd national statement in the research study Care Operate Europe, Current Understandings and Future Guidelines. In this report we gives an overview showing how care workers and their conditions has been described in Nederlander literature during the last decade. At the same time was the circumstance in the first two reviews care is focussed on childcare, junior care, and long term care to get the impaired, chronically sick, frail seniors and some specific groups. When we tried to be while complete and accurate as possible, we realized that one of the problems in comparing the different studies is the fact the researches will be aimed at (often slightly) distinct fields. Another problem is the very fact that we shortage reliable information on precise amounts of care personnel, services and budgets1. In the report we discuss four main themes: quality of organisations; job satisfaction; proper care and male or female; and recruiting and retention. In a afterwards stage it had been decided to take care of the last subject recruitment and retention вЂ“ in the work-package report 4 вЂSurveying require, supply and use of care'. Despite this terme conseille we made a decision to remain this chapter in the report. Section 2 is definitely on the issue вЂquality and care'.
